Michelle Fabiano, IOM
Michelle Fabiano is a Social Entrepreneur specializing in nonprofit organizational management, business development, transitional management, special projects, event planning and marketing. Adept at visioning, branding and marketing for organization and community development, she develops creative program that include implementation and vehicles for internal and external communications.
Also a creative problem solver with superior negotiation abilities, she has formed and worked with diverse teams to develop and employ sustainable growth and business initiatives.
Ms. Fabiano began her career in the advertising agency environment as a Media Buyer and Planner and after honing her marketing skills she went on to own and operate two successful enterprises before returning to Association Management where she was the Vice President of Tourism and Business Development and later the Interim President/CEO of the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce on Cape Cod.
Currently she is the Manager of Industry Events for three technical organizations in the Silicon Valley in California. She is an Advisor and former Board Member of the Woods Hole Film Festival and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Radio and Television Artists. She has previously served as a Community Member of the Cape Land and Sea Harvest Festival (CLASH) and the Cape and Islands Green Initiative on Cape Cod.
Ms. Fabiano received a Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University in Telecommunications and Film; with a management core and advertising emphasis and has a Certificate in Nonprofit Organization Management from the US Chamber of Commerce's Institute of Organizational Management leadership program.
Additionally she is an award winning television co-host.
